Chiesa del Santissimo Redentore: dove celebreremo il nostro matrimonio! La chiesa si trova in centro a Cernobbio, a pochi passi dalla Riva e dalla "Strettoia". Venne costruita tra il 1908 e il 1912 sotto il controllo di Cesare Formenti, i dipinti sono di Enrico Volonterio. Venne consacrata il 28 giugno 1935 e venne completata nel dopoguerra. Sulla facciata sono presenti cinque statue dei santi Stanislao, Ambrogio, Abbondio, Luigi e Antonio posti su una loggia e sopra i portoni è presente un murale in oro. ..................................................................................... This is the church where we will celebrate our wedding! The church is in the center of Cernobbio, a few meters away from the lake. The church was built between 1908 and 1912 under request of Cesare Formenti, while the paintings have been executed by Enrico Volonterio. The church has been consecrated on 28th of June 1935 and has been finalized after the second world war. In the facade there are 5 statues representing the saints Stanislao, Ambrogio, Abbondio, Luigi and Antonio placed in a loggia; above the church doors it is represented a golden mural.

Villa del Grumello: ecco la location del nostro matrimonio! Villa del Grumello è una villa seicentesca affacciata sul primo bacino del Lago di Como, a pochi passi dal centro della città. La villa è incastonata in un parco secolare di grande pregio naturalistico e unicità paesaggistica. Il Parco si articola secondo un disegno compositivo romantico; i sentieri panoramici valorizzano i tanti belvedere e i diversi ambienti. Tra gli illustri personaggi ospiti della Villa del Grumello, vanno ricordati Vincenzo Monti, Alessandro Volta e soprattutto Ugo Foscolo, le cui frequenti visite alla famiglia Giovio sono testimoniate da un busto collocato nel giardino. ........................................................................................... This is the venue of our wedding! Villa del Grumello is a seventeenth-century villa overlooking Lake Como, at few meters from Como city center. The villa is nestled in a secolar park of great naturalistic value and unique landscape. The park is articulated in a romantic composite design, with panoramic trails across the garden. Illustrious figures, including Vincenzo Monti, Alessandro Volta and Ugo Foscolo, were hosted in its frescoed and stuccoed rooms. The frequent visits made by Foscolo to the Giovio family are testified by the bust built in the garden at the wish of Countess Julia Celesia.
